Star Wars is one of the most iconic films of all time. With a long-established narrative, complex characters, and stunning visuals, the film has entertained and amazed fans for over 40 years. And now, Disney has finally revealed the official trailer for the next chapter in the franchise – Star Wars 9.
The new trailer introduces fans to the world of Batuu and features a number of fan-favorite characters, including Han Solo (Harrison Ford), Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher), R2-D2, and C-3PO. It also reveals a few brand-new faces, like Tara Rashin (Debra Wilson), Baron Attsmun (Mark Rolston), and Lt. Gauge (Daman Mills).
In addition to the new trailer, Disney has announced that it will be releasing an animated series called Tales of the Jedi this October. It will feature six short stories that span the prequel trilogy era of Star Wars, with a focus on Ahsoka Tano and young Count Dooku.
Throughout her life, Ahsoka had an amazing ability to see the Force in others and use it to solve problems. She mastered the art of combat and was able to help save the lives of many people, including her master Anakin Skywalker. But after the Jedi Order was destroyed under the command of a Sith Lord named Count Dooku, Ahsoka was unable to identify as a Jedi again.
When she was a child, Ahsoka was introduced to a Separatist named Lux Bonteri. It was through Lux that she learned that Separatists weren’t all the same, and that some had valid reasons for wanting to break away from the Republic.
She developed feelings for him, but her Jedi vows made it impossible for her to have an intimate relationship with a member of the Dark Side. Nevertheless, she remained loyal to her Master and helped him train new apprentices.
There’s no doubt that Ahsoka Tano is one of the most popular Jedi of all time, and the upcoming Disney Plus series will give us more opportunities to explore her story. The show will also be bringing back many of the most memorable characters from the Clone Wars era, such as Plo Koon, and even Duchess Satine Kryze. It’s great to see the Star Wars canon being expanded with more characters who aren’t just Jedi Knights, and we’re excited to see what’s in store for these fan favorites.
Ahsoka Tano
The beloved Star Wars character Ahsoka Tano is getting her own live-action series on Disney+. This female-centric Star Wars show will center on her as she looks for Grand Admiral Thrawn, and it is set five years after the end of Return of the Jedi.
After her debut on the animated series The Clone Wars, she became a fan favorite and eventually made her way to the live-action Star Wars shows like Rebels and The Mandalorian. Now, she is finally getting her own show – and it looks like she will be a lot of fun.
Her abilities are based in the Force, and she can sense the emotions of others, their futures, the ripples in the Force caused by momentous or traumatic events, impending danger, and the presence of other light or dark side Force-users. She also can control the minds of others, including hypnotizing and disabling them, and can see visions.
During her time as a Jedi, Ahsoka became an important part of the Clone Wars. She served as a Padawan under Anakin Skywalker, and she grew from an impulsive, naive girl to a wise and mature leader.
She also developed strong feelings for her Separatist friend Lux Bonteri, and she learned that there are many reasons why people join the Separatists. However, she was unable to fully embrace the cause, and her Jedi vows to not associate with any kind of attachment were tripped up by her attraction to Lux.
A short time later, she was raped and tortured by Darth Vader while fighting in the Lothal Jedi Temple. She was then expelled from the Jedi Order, turned over to the Republic military, and was close to being executed. Ultimately, she was saved by Ezra Bridger.
Her connection to the Force was further weakened when she became infected by the dark side on Mortis during the Clone Wars, causing her to become cruel and sadistic. This condition was cured by her meeting the Daughter, and she returned to her normal self.
Her love life continued to be complicated during the Clone Wars, as she began to develop feelings for a young Separatist named Lux Bonteri on Raxus Prime. She was able to overcome her fears of the Separatists and her Jedi vows, but she was still heartbroken by her past.
Anakin Skywalker
Among the many iconic characters in the Star Wars universe, Anakin Skywalker is undoubtedly one of the most iconic Jedi. His strong connection to the Force, paired with his ability to transcend physical death, made him an extremely powerful force-user who could rival Yoda and Sheev Palpatine at their height.
As a Jedi, he led a highly successful military campaign during the Clone Wars. He was an ally of Obi-Wan Kenobi, and the two worked together on missions throughout the war. He also trained Ahsoka Tano, a young Jedi who eventually joined him on several dangerous missions.
He was a master of the Shii-Cho and Soresu martial arts forms, as well as the more defensive Ataru form. During the Clone Wars, he modified Ataru to be more effective against incoming projectiles and range attackers.
Anakin is also very skilled in the Shien/Djem So style of meditation. This practice allows him to tap into the power of the Force, enhancing his mental abilities. He is also a very fast practitioner, which makes him a formidable opponent in hand-to-hand combat.
His saber skills are equally impressive; he is a master of the blue-bladed lightsaber, a slightly different version that he used throughout his career as a Jedi. He forged this blade when he was a young Padawan and used it throughout the Clone Wars and into the final battle against Darth Vader.
He also possesses the ability to telekinetically redirect incoming blaster bolts with his lightsaber. This is something that Yoda taught him before he became a Jedi.
While he was still a child, Anakin constructed his own podracer and protocol droid. He also mastered the use of his own speeder in the Clone Wars, as well as several other types of flying craft.
During his time as a Jedi Knight, Anakin had several important battles with bounty hunters, including Cad Bane and Cato Parasitti. He also helped rescue a holocron from Cad Bane, who was stealing it to aid his dark side ambitions.
However, Anakin also made some costly mistakes that led to him falling into the dark side. In particular, he disobeyed a direct order from Mace Windu to retreat; this resulted in the majority of his fighter squadron being wiped out. He also framed his apprentice Ahsoka Tano for a murderous bombing of the Jedi Temple, but she was eventually acquitted by the Jedi Council.
Fulcrum
If you’re a Star Wars fan, you’ve likely heard of the code name Fulcrum. This name appears several times in the Star Wars lore and refers to multiple rebel agents. One of the most notable Fulcrums was former Jedi Padawan Ahsoka Tano, who proposed the idea for an intelligence network to Bail Organa.
She was eventually put in charge of this network, which she used to recruit spies and keep in touch with rebel cells. She also aided in forming a resistance movement that would ultimately be the driving force behind the rebellion.
In order to get the most out of her role as a Fulcrum, she hoped to become the central point of communication for all the rebel cells. This way, she could ensure that each cell had a strong connection to the rest of the rebel network and that they were working in synergy. This would allow them to achieve more than they ever could alone, which is exactly what happened.
While not as well known as her former alias, Fulcrum is an important character for fans to know about. She has appeared in the Star Wars franchise several times, including in Rogue One and Season 3 of Star Wars Rebels.
Her first appearance as Fulcrum was during the first season of Star Wars Rebels, when she contacted Hera Syndulla to discuss their missions for the rebellion. She was a crucial part of the rebels’ intelligence operation and played an integral role in the battle against the Empire.
However, she subsequently went into hiding and became a secret agent under the name of Fulcrum. She remained in this identity until the end of the Rebels series.
In season 3, another Fulcrum appeared in the form of Imperial defector Aleksandr Kallus. He became a Fulcrum after becoming disillusioned with the Empire, and used this identity to inform the Rebels about a number of Imperial cadets who wanted to defect to the rebels.
It’s unclear how much information we’ve learned about this Fulcrum, but it’s interesting to think that there might be a connection between him and the upcoming Cassian Andor live-action Disney+ series. We don’t know much about the show yet, but it looks like there might be some overlap between him and other characters who have been mentioned as being part of the Fulcrum network, like Kallus or Ahsoka Tano.
